It was wonderful to head north for the end of our long, cold winter and soak up some sun on the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
I love the dog beach at Currumbin - a lovely family beach! One of my favorite beaches to paint is Byron Bay. I've come back with a feast of ideas for painting - I'm sure I'll be kept busy for many months to come! Can't wait to get started!!

I snapped this gorgeous pink Vespa in an outdoor Paris cafe last year. I was very attracted to the scene with the contrasting green of the cafe door, the green table cloth and chairs. The owner of this little Vespa was wearing matching pink with red hair! The weather was perfect for a leisurely outdoor lunch watching the passersby as the Parisians love to do.
